I was hosted on Vanilla Weeds Podcast recently. I tell my own story as I seldom do and show how the very personal is the key part. The story of women and men is the lens we looked through. It seems like the story we’re in is all out there but nope, it’s not. The inside of our own lives are woven right through it and though we may think that’s bad since the world’s in a bit of a mess, the story seems to turn out that it’s perfect and this time of change is the good news we secretly wanted all along.
Such a beautiful podcast Andrew, full of rich sharing, and a feeling of genuine empathy between you all. Thank you for posting.
Personally I prefer this sort of exchange to the one on one you were recommending towards the end, which feels more like a lab test, rather than just being yourself. But I can see that for those who carry with them the feeling of never having been heard in a safe place, such a set up would be nourishing.
What I’ve realised recently, is that for me the censor is in me. That before I can really allow myself to feel my feelings, which may be unacceptable in one way or another, my thoughts come in and cover them up, so that they are almost unreachable. They are so tender and ephemeral compared to thoughts which march in and take hold.
I loved the discussion about the sacred and how to begin to unpack that whole area.
Andrew, thank you for joining us on the Vanilla Weeds Podcast. It was what I would call a heart-to-heart conversation about things that truly matter. I hope a lot of people listen to it.
Thanks Natalia! It was a gift to me to be welcomed into the space. To not have to defend my, or any position, but to celebrate that we really are in it together. I'd love it if many would listen and I'd like to speak more too: more heart -to-heart conversations help more people have more heart-to-heart conversations.

Thank you.
Great to hear Anna. You express the delicacy of the work and the need for it beautifully!
