Analysis is interesting but it’s not transformational. The merely-cognitive doesn’t touch us where we really live. There’s no urgency in the merely-cognitive. It doesn’t put us on the line. It’s disengaged. Yet analysis is most of what we read and watch. It leaves us out of the mix, while the common factor in what we see and hear is precisely us. We’re the only one who can make change.
Engagement, surrendered to something greater than ourselves, is warriorship. Seeing that the real battle is fought in consciousness makes it a Conscious Warriorship.
Many, maybe most people see that crucial values are under assault in modern western culture. Our physical, mental and emotional health and that of our children and our families are at risk. A globalist elite is undertaking global control. It’s not concerned if large numbers of people are hurt in the process of that omni-control. On the contrary popular fear and loathing form the psychological background to implement control. What are the risks of being an active pariticipant in the fight vs not being engaged personally?
Even those who don’t agree with this view often agree that we’re in huge danger at this time.
But how do we respond to it? Most of us are caught in analysis. We don’t know how to break out of the analytical box and we don’t recognize that we’re in it. It’s scary to leave the box and in the box we’re comfortably numb.
Here are some reasons why people stay in the analysis box.
People like Tom, Dick and Harriet are angry and bitter about what’s going on and they’re not helping anyone, even themselves. It would be better for them to forget about it.
Comment: It’s true that anger and blame don’t help, but here are many other responses than anger and blame.
My family will be upset and angry at me.
It’s probably true that some members might. But there’s this: When do you tell your truth in your family and how important is it that you do? This is often difficult because for generations families have been weakened and truth-telling there has not been welcomed. Parental authority, particularly father’s authority is often confidently dismissed.I could lose my livlihood.
That’s true, you could and many did during Covid. Risk is involved. That’s our time. How important is your own perception and sense of truth to you? Many people have given their lives for truth throughout history. They’ve done it for their families, their God, their inner unwillingness to live by lives. It is an option. Those who do tend to be strong, resilient, and joyous. Putting ourselves in the service of something bigger and greater than ourselves, the white pill, and fighting for the best we know is a genuine option. If I question what’s going on publicly, I’ll lose my standing as a reputable woman / or man.
Also true, you may. What are the consequences of being so seen by peers, rather vs the consequences for losing self-respect, personal integrity and the beating heart of your relationship to partner and children? We live in a democracy. Our leaders will take care of it.
How are they taking care of it so far? Passive citizens get controlling leaders. We lose if we outsource our thinking, speaking and acting to others without active skin-in-the-game engagement. Personal engagement and skin in the game are needed. Leaders need engaged citizens if they’re to lead.
When Americans talk about the America of old they’re talking of an America of relative self-responsibility. Relative because it never was perfect. In Canada where I live we had a culture of relative peace, order and good government. This was based on a citizenry who backed up these values by the way they lived. Most simply followed along and that was enough then. It’s not enough now. Now we’re in a time of active change more like the revolutionary war. Change will need active engagement from ordinary people.
Active engagement for change is warriorship. Seeing that it’s a battle in conciousness means it’s a Conscious Warriorship. Seeing that it’s out there beyond analysis.
More soon.
Here are two other reasons why people stay in the analysis box:
6. The world is getting more an more complex. We need to work for a living. There is little time and motivation left to be political well informed. Well informed means to be informed by different sources. Well informed means to gain a political, social and economical background. Well informed means to have an historical background and being aware of the forces who are fighting against each other. Well informed means to be aware of past conflicts, strategies and arguments used to induce and push those conflicts and wars.
7. We formed a state and handed over some of our interest to the state. We expect the selected people to care for our interest. We are paying them to get an understanding of the complex world.
We are driven by the ‚truth‘: The political cast is caring for our interests. We can continue to watch Netflix after a busy day at work or with our family.
I still hope that I am wrong with these two additional reasons.
